Handmade Congratulations Greeting Card / Long - Skinny Card with Paper Flower Tutorial

long skinny card

Hello all! I made a long and skinny card. This one was very simple and easy to make. The idea of making long and skinny card came from Mojo Monday sketch. The finished size of the card is 3.5" X 8.5". I used Fresh Floral Stack pattern paper from DCWV. Both the flowers were handmade using EK Sucess medium retro flower punch. I used Die-Namics Fancy Flourish die on the background.

Leaves were punched out using Punch-Bunch punch. I added some Pearls and Rhinestones to finish off the card.

Invert the flowers and bring the petal towards the center.

Apply a dot of glue on the center and layer the flowers on top of each other. Use rhinestone, liquid pearl or half pearls as your flower center.

Hope you liked it.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day.

Handmade Birthday Greeting Card

Handmade greeting cards for birthday

I started with base card 5" X 5" in black card stock and layered with teal card stock (Colored the white cardstock using teal water color paint) . Pattern papers are Linen Closet papers from DCWV. I have used a Digi  image from Craft on the Net. I colored the image using metallic color pencil and gel pen. I stamped the Birthday sentiment on white card stock using Inkadinkado clear stamp. Flowers and leaves are punched out using small Punch-Bunch Paper Punch and embellished it with a rhinestone. Butterflies are hand cut and the flourish are handmade using liquid pearl.

Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by today.

Handmade Greeting Card for kids/Girls

handmade pink color greeting card
Hello All. I recently purchased some scrapbooking supplies from Big lots. They have some great selection of pattern papers and stickers at an affordable price. To make this card, I adhered the silver glitter vine paper pattern paper on the black card base and added the border sticker. The pink borders are from Heidi Grace border sticker.

I cut out the pre-colored image from a Colorbok pattern paper, then backed it with a black card stock and  added faux stitches using white pen stacked it on the another piece of vertical card stock and finally adhered the panel on the silver panel stock. The small flowers are punched out using Punch Bunch cherry blossom punch and added 3mm pearl for flower center.

Hope you like it. Thanks for your visit.
