Spicy Chicken Masala |
Ingredients:
Chicken - ½ kg
Onion – 2 (chopped)
Tomato – 3 (chopped)
Green chili – 2 (chopped)
Garlic – 2 cloves (chopped)
Ginger – garlic paste – 1tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbs
Curry leaves – 5-7
Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash the chicken and cut in to pieces. Boil the chicken until its half done.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, curry leaves and chilli and fry until the onion
becomes transparent.
- Add turmeric and ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw
smell comes out.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and saute it till it becomes mushy.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala,
salt and saute it for a minute.
- Add the boiled chicken and one cup of water and cook until the chicken is done and
oil separates from the gravy.
- Garnish with cilantro.
- Serve hot with rice, chapattis etc.
